Code of Conduct

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS
  1. College functions from 9:10 A.M to 4:40 P.M. every day.
  2. Every Student should attend the classes regularly and should maintain an attendance of not less than 75% in every Semester to get eligible for External Examinations. Students who stood attendance less than 65% will be detained at the end of the Semester as per the norms of JNTUA.
  3. Student should wear Identity Card compulsorily during class work and Examinations.
  4. Student should take permission from Departmental HOD and Principal in writing to leave the College during College working hours due to their personal works.
  5. Students should be aware about Seminars / Conferences / Symposiums/ Guest Lectures or any other events that are planned by the College / Department from time to time and should participate in all the activities to improve their personal profile.
  6. Students should read the rules and regulations of JNTUA which are printed in the respective Syllabus books and should follow accordingly.
  7. Every student must abide by the rules and regulations of the college.
  8. Ragging is totally prohibited in the College and if found severe action will be initiated by the College on the involved students as per the law and Anti-Ragging act.
  9. Students are to wear formal dress in the College. However, wearing T-Shirts/ Jeans are not allowed.
  10. Students should not involve in any unwanted issues in the College and should behave politely throughout their stay in the College.
  11. Students shall visit our College website www.aitskadapa.ac.in for all updates and day to day programs.
  12. Remedial classes will be arranged for all the weaker students at the end of every semester and hence students can utilize this opportunity.
  13. The absence of the student to any class on any day will be intimated to the parents in the form of SMS from the College office.
  14. Students can check the College and departmental notice boards periodically to know information pertaining to academics, examinations and administration circulars.

A candidate should possess the eligibility of 10+2 qualification from Board of Intermediate, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as his/her optional subjects, or any other equivalent examination recognized as equivalent there to. A student to step in four-year degree course in Engineering except NRI quota must qualify in “ENGINEERING,AGRICULTURE & PHARMACY COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (EAPCET), a State-Level Entrance Test conducted by the Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh. Students who qualify in EAPCET entrance test will be admitted strictly on merit bases.

  • The Convener of EAPCET admits on merit secured in Intermediate or an equivalent examination and the rank secured in EAPCET.
  • The Management admits candidates for the Management and NRI quota based on merit and should possess first class is optional . subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • The Convener of ECET admits 10% of the candidates from the stream of Diploma Holders should pass in diploma fromAndhra Pradesh State Government or an equivalent examination.

ED-cell

About ED Cell

Entrepreneurship Development (ED) cell was established in the Institute with a vision to introduce & promote Entrepreneurship skills among the students & Industry-Institute Interaction (III). The ED cell is a non-profit student-run cell at AITS, KADAPA under the supervision of Mr. M. Murali Mohan Naik. The mission of ED cell is to encourage & refine the Entrepreneurial and product development skills of the students like idea generation, opportunity evaluation, business modeling, marketing, Intellectual property rights, new innovative project development, skill development and many more. To develop the above qualities & to become an Entrepreneur, Entrepreneurship Club is also constituted in the Institute under ED cell.

To become an entrepreneur and to promote the entrepreneurship qualities among the students and Industry-Institute Interactions, the cell is conducting regular lectures, workshops, seminars, competitions inside the Institute and beyond the walls of the Institute. The cell is conducting R&D, cooperative educations, Industry-Institute Interactions & management.

Programmes

Conducted several programmers (All self financed by the institution only) on Entrepreneurship development cell under the guidance of EDC coordinator.

  • E-NATIONAL LEVEL AWARENESS PROGRAMME 2021 (NLAP-21).
  • Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp’ was organized at AITS, Kadapa on October 24, 2019. The camp was a joint initiative between Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Cell of AITS, Kadapa and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat.
  • A 3-Day EAC (Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp) has organized by A.I.T.S, Kadapa in association with EDII/DST-NIMAT, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat under Govt. EAC Project from 28/08/18 to 30/08/18.
  • On 22.8.2016 as an extension of I.I.I (Industry-Institution-Interaction) organized by EDC of AITS Kadapa, Sri. B.Venkata subbaiah, Deputy Director National power training institute, ministry of power, Government of India, has created awareness on “Role of Entrepreneurship in an Engineers life”
  • On 10.2.2016 as a part of EDC activities, EDC of AITS Kadapa has organized a programme known as “Importance of Entrepreneurship for young Engineers”. General Manager and joint director of Industries, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Sri G.Gopal along with Assistant Director of industries Sri.C.Srinivas yadav has enlighten the Establishment and importance of Industries in the country.
  • On 29.9.15 a programmer of I.I.I(Industry-Institution-Interaction) organized by EDC of AITS Kadapa to create awareness to all the final year B.Tech students of various Engineering colleges located in around Kadapa district. General Manager Sri.J.S.Sanjivi of Shirdi Sai industries was the chief resource person.
