Anti-Drug Awareness Program Report on 27-07-2024

An “Awareness Program on Anti- Ragging & Drug prevention’ was organized by NSS Unit, AITS, Kadapa on 27th July, 2024. As chief guest S. Baba Fakruddin, Secretory cum Senior Civil judge, District Legal Services Authority, G. Madhavi, Drug Inspector and S. Ravi Babu Additional DMHO, Kadapa have attended. On This occasion, the judge said that if anyone directly or indirectly involve in the ragging, then they will be imprisoned for two years and fined ten thousand rupees. He also advised the youth that they should wear helmets and lead an addiction free life. In the event, Principal, Dr A Sudhakara Reddy, NSS Programme officer, Dr T Sankar Reddy, Physical Director A. Rajesh, faculty members along with 150 members of NSS volunteers were present and made the event successful.
